Attached is a letter with details regarding a special memorial fund for
Brother Brian van der Spuy a South African preacher who died of a heart
attack in April. He preached here for over 40 years and was a dynamic
speaker on any occasion. He was educated at Freed-Hardeman and David
Lipscomb colleges in the late fifties/early sixties. His sponsoring and
fully-supporting congregation for all his years of ministry in South Africa
was the Granny White Pike Church of Christ in Nashville, TN.
At the request of the family, this memorial fund has been established to
benefit the Southern Africa Bible College to train more gospel
preachers and teachers here in Africa.
Details about contributions to this fund are in the attached letter.
Your consideration of this avenue to further advance the Lord's church is
greatly appreciated. The family will be notified of each and every
donation. If you know of others who would like to be made aware of this
special fund, please pass it along to them via email or the postal service.
